Who we are
Cadi is a digital business card and link page for people and businesses in Kenya and the region, run from Nairobi. In these terms, "Cadi", "we" and "us" mean the team operating cadi.taifa.ke. "You" means anyone who creates a card or uses the service.
What Cadi does
Cadi lets you build a card with your details and links, share it by link, QR code or NFC tag, and collect the contacts people choose to send you. During early access all features are free. Paid plans (Pro and Business) are marked Coming soon and will not start without a clear notice to you first.
Your account
- You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email. Keep your inbox secure, because anyone who reads that code can sign in.
- Give us accurate information and use one account per person.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account.
Your content
You own the content you put on your card. You give us permission to store it, show it on your public card and process it only to run Cadi. You confirm that you have the right to share it, including any photo, logo or contact detail you add.
Acceptable use
Do not use Cadi to impersonate another person or business, to spread illegal or harmful content, to harass people, to send spam, or to collect other people's details without their consent. Do not try to break, overload or reverse engineer the service. We may remove a card or suspend an account that breaks these rules.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Cadi running, but we do not promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may change or retire features. If we make a material change to these terms we will tell you by email or in the app before it applies.
Liability
Cadi is provided as is during early access. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect loss, lost business or lost data. Nothing here limits rights you have under Kenyan consumer or data protection law.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We can end the service or your access with reasonable notice, or immediately for serious breaches of these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Disputes go to the courts of Kenya unless the law gives you the right to another route.
